Scott-Macon is a leading independent equipment company in the Southern region of the United States. The company’s operations include the sale, rental and servicing of a wide variety of lifting equipment including rough terrain hydraulic cranes, specialized hydraulic crawler cranes, crawler and truck cranes, material handlers, boom trucks and aerial lifts.

Scott-Macon is a proud authorized dealer and distributor for Terex in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.

Scott-Macon is proud to be a dealer for the Mantis line of hydraulic crawler cranes and Terex aerial lift platforms, material handlers and hydraulic cranes. Given the wide range of equipment features Terex, Dresser/ Galion and Broderson hydraulic cranes, Mantis hydraulic crawler cranes, Terex aerial lift platforms and material handlers as well as timber laminated mats and Skid-Steer loaders. The company is also involved in the sale of previously-owned equipment, primarily from its rental fleet.

Scott-Macon has a diverse customer base ranging from large multinational process and engineering companies to local and regional contractors. The company’s rental operations are organized to be able to meet a wide variety of customer needs, ranging from complex multiple equipment packages for overseas projects to daily single-piece equipment rentals. Dedicated sales professionals work closely with customers to make sure initial customers requirements are met and follow up through job completion to ensure customer satisfaction with either new or used equipment purchase or with leased equipment.

Scott-Macon has been built on a foundation of customer service and a cornerstone of that foundation is large equipment service operation. In addition to maintaining company’s fleet of rental equipment and supporting the company’s dealer operations, Scott-Macon’s service capabilities provide customers with solutions for their parts and service needs. Scott-Macon is also a dealer for Greer Anti-two block systems, Johnson blocks, and McMillen augers. Many customers rely on Scott-Macon’s parts and service department to repair and maintain their equipment, either on-site or at one of our repair facilities. Scott-Macon also maintains a large fleet of experienced field service personnel to ensure rapid on-site analysis and repair of both new equipment under warranty and rental equipment under lease. We provide service to our customers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The company’s main office and service facility is located in Houston, Texas, while additional offices and service facilities are maintains in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Houma, Louisiana, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Dallas, Texas.

The company’s operations are managed by a team of experienced sales, service and equipment professionals who have worked together for approximately 20 years, and who have significant equipment experience prior to joining the Scott-Macon team. Scott-Macon is privately-owned by its management.
