Terex IC-1 Plus Control System at Bauma 2016

Terex’s IC-1 Plus Control System was among the many continued innovations by Terex shown at Bauma 2016.

At the Terex booth, Scott-Macon Equipment Representatives outlined the features of the IC-1 Plus to customers.  The IC-1 Plus calculates lifting capacities for every position of the crane’s boom subject to the slewing angle of the superstructure, allowing for maximum lifting capacities.

Adding additional value and enabling cranes to perform more jobs, the IC-1 Plus Control System offers improved safety through an enhanced visualization of the work area capacity, and increased versatility through an asymmetric outrigger setup that allows the crane to work in confined spaces without losing lifting capacity. Transportation costs are reduced as the IC-1 Plus control system allows crane operators to increase lifting capacity while using less counterweight compared to 360º capacities.
