The Tadano GR-1000XL-4 features a new Smart Counterweight system and redesigned cab, allowing for an unprecedented operating experience. First announced back in January of 2020, the GR-1000XL-4 features Tadano’s newest Smart Counterweight system, which allows the crane operator to use two counterweight positions, ultimately increasing the machine’s lifting capacity. In addition to the new Smart Counterweight system, this rough terrain crane also features a newly designed cab, which allows for better visibility and comfort for the operator.

The GR-1000XL has a maximum boom length of 154.3 feet. It also features a maximum jib length of 58.1 feet. All in all, the GR-1000XL makes for an exciting, versatile addition to the Tadano family.
