Scott-Macon Equipment listed in ACT 100

Once again, Scott-Macon Equipment placed among the top companies in the nation.

Scott-Macon Equipment ranked 7th in total tonnage for mobile fleets among all companies in North America. The company has consistently placed among the top ten for mobile fleets in the United States, Canada, and Mexico ever since it started to submit data to the ACT 100 in 2008. ACT also ranked Scott-Macon Equipment 18th in overall fleet tonnage in the United States.

“This ACT ranking is a reflection of the hard work we put into building our fleet over the years,” commented Allan Woodruff, Executive Vice President of Scott-Macon Equipment. “We want to ensure that we have a versatile fleet that meets all of our customer’s needs. Whether it is a Rough Terrain, Carry Deck, Crawler, or most other types of cranes, we strive to have the right crane with the right capacity for our customers.”

Allan Woodruff also noted, “In addition to being able to try a crane before buying one, our diverse rental fleet supports our dealer operations by enabling us to supply a broad variety of well maintained, pre-owned equipment for sale that will fit most any budget when new is not an option.”

The ACT rankings are based on a proprietary ranking system centered on total tonnage. American Cranes and Transport surveys companies across all of North America.
